(Mahatma Gandhi was not just a man; he was a thought, a revolution, a soul’s call.)
Mahatma Gandhi, fondly called Bapu, was the torchbearer of truth, non-violence, simplicity, and Swaraj. Today, as India stands at the crossroads of development and disparity, tradition and technology, Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) proudly declares that the soul of its mission is rooted in the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi.
In every heartbeat of our movement, in every policy we shape, in every cause we raise our voice for Gandhiji’s philosophy is our guiding light. Rashtriya Lok Morcha is not just a political entity; it is a jan-andolan that echoes Bapu's dream of a self-reliant, united, and morally awakened Bharat.
RLM is the bridge between Gandhi's Bharat and the dreams of today's India.
This is the India Rashtriya Lok Morcha dreams of and works tirelessly to build.
"Jab bhi raaste mein andhera ho, satya ka deepak jalana mat bhoolna."
Gandhi made the truth his weapon and shield. In a political world today muddled with false promises, media manipulation, and moral ambiguity, RLM stands firm on the principle of Satya.
We believe truth is not just a value but a revolution. Every RLM leader is expected to:
Speak truth to power
Our leaders must have the courage to raise their voice against injustice, corruption, and misuse of authority—no matter who is in charge. Speaking truth to power means standing firm with honesty, even when it challenges the status quo or invites personal risk. It is a commitment to uphold what is right, not what is easy.
Practice transparency in governance
We expect our representatives to function with complete openness. From financial decisions to policy implementation, nothing should be hidden from the people. True leadership thrives when citizens have full visibility into the workings of the government, ensuring trust and accountability at every level.
Be answerable to the public
RLM leaders are not rulers—they are public servants. They must remain accessible, ready to explain their decisions, accept criticism, and respond to the needs and concerns of the people. Accountability is not optional; it is a duty and a daily practice.
Oppose lies, however convenient they may be
In a world where falsehood often serves short-term gains, we choose the harder path of truth. Our leaders are expected to confront misinformation and deception, even when doing so comes with political cost. Integrity demands that we reject lies, no matter how comfortable or beneficial they might seem.
"Jahan laathi-chhuri ka raaj ho, wahan baat karni padti hai dil se, dimaag se."
Rashtriya Lok Morcha does not believe in the violence of sword or words. Inspired by Gandhiji’s non-violent resistance, we use:

...to bring about change.
Today, when aggression is celebrated in politics, RLM brings back the forgotten power of patience, peace, and dialogue.
RLM’s model of governance is rooted in Gram Swaraj. We believe every panchayat, ward, and mohalla must be empowered. RLM’s initiatives include:
1. Decentralized Policymaking
We believe policies should not be dictated from the top down. Instead, decisions must be made at the local level, by the people who are directly affected by them. Through decentralized policymaking, we ensure that local governance bodies like panchayats and ward committees have the authority to shape development plans, allocate resources, and make laws that reflect the unique needs of their communities.
2. Participatory Budgeting
Public money should be spent with public input. RLM promotes participatory budgeting, where local residents actively engage in deciding how government funds should be allocated in their area. This process not only enhances transparency and accountability but also ensures that budget decisions align with real priorities—such as education, sanitation, healthcare, and employment.
3. Community-Based Development
We believe in development with the people, by the people, for the people. RLM’s approach focuses on mobilizing local communities to lead their own progress. Whether it’s improving roads, managing water resources, or running health campaigns, we encourage collective ownership and collaboration, fostering a sense of responsibility and unity in every neighbourhood and village.
From Delhi to the last village, RLM works to bring power to the people, not power to politicians.
(Development is incomplete until the last person is happy.)
Gandhiji’s vision of Sarvodaya—upliftment of all—guides RLM’s policies. We reject:
Instead, RLM builds policies around dignity, opportunity, and justice—for farmers, tribals, women, and youth alike.
"Jab apne haathon se kuch bunta hai, tab desh bhi mazboot banta hai."
RLM champions Swadeshi economics and rural enterprise, inspired by Bapu’s love for Khadi. Through the RLM Swadeshi Udyam Abhiyan, we:
RLM believes ‘Vocal for Local’ is not a slogan—it’s a Gandhian revolution.
"Desh tabhi saaf hoga, jab man, tan aur dhan saaf honge."
RLM’s “Shuddh Bharat Abhiyan” goes beyond physical cleanliness to promote:
Through community participation and volunteerism, RLM ensures that cleanliness becomes a collective value, not a campaign.
RLM promotes Gandhian education reforms where learning is practical, moral, and empowering. Our "Yuva Shakti Vikas Mission" fosters:
(RLM’s goal is not just degrees, but duty-bound citizens.)
(Give respect to women, and society will shine.)
Gandhiji said, “If you educate a man, you educate an individual. If you educate a woman, you educate a nation.” RLM has:
RLM’s feminism is not borrowed: It is born from Kasturba and Gandhi’s shared legacy.
"Prakriti ko samjho, tabhi pragati hogi."
RLM integrates Gandhian environmental ethics in its policies:
1. Tree Plantation Drives
Trees are the lungs of our planet. Through large-scale and community-led tree plantation drives, RLM works to combat deforestation, reduce carbon footprints, and revive biodiversity. Every sapling planted is a step toward a greener, healthier future and a living tribute to Gandhiji’s love for nature.
2. Zero Plastic Campaigns
Plastic pollution poses a severe threat to our soil, water, and marine life. RLM actively promotes zero-plastic zones in villages, towns, and cities. We conduct awareness drives, encourage alternatives like cloth and jute bags, and support policies that phase out single-use plastics. Our aim is to build a plastic-free Bharat, starting at the grassroots.
3. Promotion of Organic Farming
Agriculture should nourish both people and the planet. RLM supports farmers in transitioning to organic farming by offering training, technical support, and market access. This approach not only protects soil and water health but also ensures safer, chemical-free food for every household. It echoes Gandhiji’s vision of sustainable rural self-sufficiency.
4. Rainwater Harvesting Projects
Water is a precious resource—and we must preserve every drop. RLM implements and promotes rainwater harvesting systems in urban and rural areas to address water scarcity. By capturing and storing rainwater, we reduce dependence on groundwater and build climate resilience, especially in drought-prone regions.
For RLM, nature is not a resource, it’s a responsibility.
"Rajneeti ka arth sirf satta nahi, sewa bhi hota hai."
Inspired by Bapu’s ideals, RLM brings back ethics into Indian politics:
Zero Tolerance for Corruption
RLM believes corruption is the biggest betrayal of public trust. We strictly oppose any form of bribery, misuse of public office, or favouritism. Our leaders and workers are held to the highest ethical standards, and any involvement in corrupt practices leads to immediate disciplinary action. Clean politics is not our promise—it is our foundation.
Transparent Party Funding
We advocate complete transparency in how our party receives and spends funds. Every donation is accounted for, publicly disclosed, and compliant with electoral laws. By rejecting black money and anonymous funding, RLM ensures that our financial practices reflect our values and allow voters to trust that our decisions are not influenced by hidden interests.
Criminal-Free Candidates
People with criminal backgrounds have no place in public service. RLM ensures that only individuals with a clean record and a genuine commitment to public welfare represent the party in elections. We believe that integrity must be a non-negotiable qualification for anyone aspiring to lead.
Regular Jan-Sunwai Sessions (Public Hearings)
Democracy thrives on dialogue. RLM organizes regular Jan-Sunwai sessions at local, district, and state levels where citizens can raise concerns, offer feedback, and hold leaders accountable. These open forums not only empower people but also keep our representatives closely connected to the ground reality, ensuring governance remains people-centric and responsive.
RLM is creating leaders who don’t chase chairs, they chase change.
"Main akela chal pada tha, log judte gaye, karvaan banta gaya."
Rashtriya Lok Morcha is not just a party—it is Gandhi’s dream relived in today’s language.
We don’t just remember Bapu: We Walk with him.
We don’t just quote him: We live by his ideals.
(Gandhiji is a thought. RLM is that thought’s living form today.)
RLM is devoutly committed to building a strong and developed India which is unimaginable without the trust and the unflinching support of the people of India. Join us and be part of the unprecedented transformation that is changing the lives of all sections of society for better. Together, let's build 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat' and witness the rise of New India under the charismatic leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi.
